Help Us Preserve Phoenix’s Holocaust Stories
The Hilton Family Holocaust Education Center, opening in 2027, is building a permanent collection that honors the experiences of Holocaust survivors and their families who made their lives in Arizona—and we need your help.
We are seeking photographs, documents, and personal objects connected to Holocaust survivors and their families who lived in the Phoenix area or the broader Southwest.
These items help tell powerful, personal stories—of survival, loss, resilience, and rebuilding—and ensure that future generations understand the human impact of the Holocaust.
We are especially interested in:
- Family photographs (before, during, or after the war)
- Immigration and identity documents
- Letters, diaries, and personal correspondence
- Everyday objects carried through or connected to the Holocaust
- Items reflecting life after WWII in Arizona
You may choose to donate your items or loan them for exhibition. Our curatorial team will work closely with you to document and care for your materials with the utmost respect.
If you or your family have items to share, please submit information below:
Reach out to info@azjhs.com with any questions.
Your family’s story is part of our community’s Holocaust history. Help us preserve it.
